Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Spark, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Spark. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Spark.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Spark.
• You must be a human. Accounts operated by bots or automated scripts are prohibited.
• You must not be prohibited from using Spark under applicable Indian law.
• You must not have been previously banned from Spark for violating these terms.

We verify age at onboarding via date of birth. Misrepresentation of age may result in immediate permanent ban.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account used to sign in.
• You may only create one Spark account. Multiple accounts are prohibited.
• Your profile must accurately represent you. Using photos of someone else is prohibited.
• Your display name must be between 2 and 50 characters.

You must not use Spark to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Share content that is obscene, pornographic, violent, hateful, or illegal.
• Solicit money, services, or personal information from other users.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Post content involving minors in any inappropriate way.
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages.
• Use Spark for commercial solicitation without our written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Spark service.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without refund.

You retain ownership of content you post on Spark (photos, messages, bio). By posting content, you grant Spark a limited, non-exclusive license to display and transmit that content solely to provide the service.

You represent that you have the right to post all content and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.

Matches expire 7 days after creation. Once expired, the match is archived and the chat history is no longer accessible. This policy is designed to encourage genuine engagement.

Free accounts are limited to 100 swipes per day (reset at midnight IST). This limit is enforced server-side and cannot be bypassed.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We initiate a 30-day soft-delete period, after which all personal data is permanently purged. This process complies with India's DPDP Act 2023.

The Spark name, logo (✦), design, and code are owned by Spark and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Spark is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee that you will find a match or that other users are who they claim to be.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Spark's liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹500 INR.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
